Recently, we traveled over 1500 km by road to the high-security area of Garissa County to visit one of the five counties involved in the River Tana project. During our trip, we met with the various County Governors and Ministers of Environment for Garissa, Kitui, and Embu, who gave high approval for our projected work as we continue to plan/finalize the project at hand. We later met with UNICEF on the ground and at HQ regarding the projects in Garissa, which lead to an agreement in principle to partner with us in various projects in Kenya.
