Also an important employer, the shipyard at one time employed 30,000 workers.
With this contract, Planate will update and maintain facilities and associated equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. A broad range of infrastructure improvements are planned for the shipyard facilities including upgrading buildings to meet modern operational and safety standards.
