Planate Management Group Awarded A Contract Modification To Exercise Option Year 2 For NAVFAC EURAFCENT PWD, Jebel Ali, UAE

MAY 11, 2021, ALEXANDRIA, Va – Planate Management Group was awarded a contract modification to exercise Option Year 2 to continue to provide Construction Management (CM) and Design Manager (DM) support services for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe Africa Central (NAVFAC EURAFCENT) Public Works Detachment at Jebel Ali Quay 9, UAE and surrounding areas. This project supports NAVFAC EURAFCENT’s overall operational objectives.

Planate will provide oversight and administration of all contractor staff and direct the efforts of all contracted employees in response to specific task orders, work requirements, and administrative support needs. The Planate CM assists NAVFAC with the enforcement of budget, schedule, quality, and scope of assigned projects, including managing the planning, design for design-build projects, and construction and post-construction phases. The Planate DM provides professional general engineering services, including application and interpretation of professional engineering requirements to naval facility design, conducting engineering studies surveys and investigations, and sitting on team engineering reviews.
