ALEXANDRIA, Va – Planate Management Group was awarded a contract modification to exercise Option Year 1 to continue providing Engineering Technician support services for the Public Works Department Naples located at the Icelandic Security Area and surrounding areas. Engineering Technician services will support projects for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe Africa Central (NAVFAC EURAFCENT) and United States Air Force Europe.
Under this contract, Planate assists NAVFAC EURAFCENT in monitoring construction contracts for adherence to contract Provisions and applicable trade and safety standards and makes recommendations to the government regarding the acceptability of the work performed.
This a firm-fixed price task order with a one-year base period of performances and four option years.
As a senior expert QA/QC, with twenty years of experience also as a consultant within the ROICC, I am currently completing an exciting experience, in the project ”P-307 / P-308 Modify Hangar Repair & Rinse Rack”, which is about to conclude in the Airport of Keflavik, Iceland.
I hope to be able to contribute to other NAVFAC projects here, in Iceland.
