Planate’s Board of Advisors focuses on leveling up operations
ALEXANDRIA, VA – March 8, 2021 – Planate Management Group (Planate), the premier trusted partner for Architecture and Engineering Design, Facilities and Master Planning, Engineering Support, and Environmental Services worldwide, announces that Mr. Marc Knapp has become the newest member of its Board of Advisors. Mr. Knapp brings accounting, planning, and legal expertise to further strengthen the board and help move the company to next-level operations.

Mr. Knapp’s areas of expertise are business finance and accounting, business strategy and planning, government and regulations, and legal services. He is a licensed attorney in Maryland. He has helped businesses refine strategies, identify risks and opportunities, and create the business infrastructures needed to grow, manage, and control new ventures.

Planate’s Board of Advisors provides such advice and counsel as requested by the president regarding Company matters. Mr. Knapp will be joining Planate’s four existing board members, James Clayton, Gary Erickson, Lawrence Ruggiero, and Ray Decker, effective immediately.

James B. Clayton (Chair) – 55 years’ experience in government and commercial engineering, construction and facilities management. President of Unity, Inc., and Vice President of three other engineering firms.
About Gary Erickson
Gary Erickson – 48 years in government and commercial engineering service businesses. President, Water & Environment, Atkins; President, Federal Services, MWH (now part of Stantec); Vice-President, Business Development and Strategy for Federal Services Group, Black and Veatch; and CEO-Director, AFCEE (USAF).
About Lawrence E. Ruggiero
Lawrence E. Ruggiero – 33 Years in government and commercial contract administration. Currently Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Science Applications International Corporation. A JD- George Washington University Law School; an MBA Rutgers University and a BSME – US Naval Academy.
About Ray Decker
Ray Decker – 49 years in federal government management. Former Director, Defense Capabilities and Management (GAO); Deputy Associate Director, Center for National Security/Veterans Services (GAO); Managing Director, ArgenRM, LLC; and Head, Special Activities Support Branch/Oversight Division (HQ USMC).
