  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group, a leading provider of facilities engineering and management consulting services, is proud to announce the award of a significant contract to support the United States Government’s Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate (AFSAC) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) personnel at Martyr BG Ali Flaih Air Base (Ali Flaih AB), Iraq.

    Under the new contract, Planate will deliver comprehensive program management services (PMS), aiding USG personnel in administering base contracts for Ali Flaih AB. The scope of services includes procurement support, construction and commissioning services, contractor surveillance, transition support, and claims and post-construction support.
  • ALEXANDRIA, Va.: Planate Management Group, a renowned Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is pleased to announce its collaboration on an important project based at the Soto Cano airbase in Honduras.

    The initial scope of the project saw the deployment of Planate’s experts, Mr. Curtlin Johnson, a civil engineer, and Mr. Rich Trimble, an electrical engineer, to participate in a Pre-deployment site survey at the airbase. The visit, which took place between August 15–18, had the duo work closely with stakeholders to gather vital information and insights.

    Under the auspices of the Veterans Health Administration, Planate will furnish comprehensive architectural and engineering services to support the esteemed facilities that provide care for the nation’s veterans. This contract represents a commitment to up to sixteen Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for Florida and seven for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to provide professional multi-discipline expert consulting services to the VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21) facilities. According to the VISN 21 website, “The Network serves Veterans in northern and central California, Nevada, Hawaii, the Philippines, and U.S. Territories in the Pacific Basin. With a total of 67 sites of care, VISN 21 provides a continuum of comprehensive health care services through seven VA Medical Centers, nine co-located Community Living Centers, and 41 Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).”

  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to remodel the prosthetics and physical therapy room at the VA Portland Healthcare System, Portland campus.

    Planate will be providing plans, specifications, construction bid documents, solicitation phase, and construction period services required to renovate 7,000 gsf of prosthetics and physical therapy space to increase functionality and efficiency. The objective is to combine redundant and underutilized areas such as waiting rooms, admin space, and storage areas to gain exam rooms and improve patient flow.
  • Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to provide safety and security upgrades at an outpatient clinic in Anchorage, Alaska.

    Planate will provide professional services to include site visits, calculations, preparation of contract drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction bid documents, solicitation phase support, and construction period services to meet the safety and security requirements.
  • Sampson, Planate’s director of supply chain logistics, and Lauren Whetstone, facility and space planner, achieved the successful execution of the data collection for this project within a demanding 10-day timeframe on-site at the end of March. Providing 3D photogrammetry scanning services at two Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) campuses — Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School in Hayward, Wis., and Fond du Lac Ojibwe School in Cloquet, Minn. This project consists of utilizing a 3D scanner to conduct over a thousand scans that captured over eleven billion individual data points. This robust dataset is displayed in highly accurate 3D point-cloud models and updated as-built drawings that portray the layout and current condition of the facility and its technical systems.
  • Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to provide A/E design services for infrastructure upgrades at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.
  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded two contracts to build mobile containerized substations for the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Mobile Utilities Support Equipment (MUSE) Division in Port Hueneme, Calif. Under these contracts, Planate will rebuild one existing 2500kVA containerized substation and design and fabricate three new 3750kVA containerized substations. MUSE utilizes these specialized, transportable equipment assets to provide temporary utilities support for US Navy shore-based critical power systems as well as for shipboard testing and maintenance.
  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to provide construction program management and related services (CPMRS) to support upgrades across VISN 8 VA Sunshine Healthcare Network. The network includes locations in Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

    Planate’s CPRMS will include a broad range of professional and technical consultative assistance related to operations, renovation and new construction programs. This includes assistance in the areas of management, project engineering, planning, scheduling, design reviews, code compliance, testing, record keeping, quality control, cost control, and general oversight of design and construction programs.
  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to provide professional support services to support the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) infrastructure upgrades across VISN 5 VA Medical Centers and associated CBOC locations.

    The VA Capitol Health Care Network (VISN 5) has medical centers located in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to provide mechanical engineering services to U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) locations across the Northwest Arctic Region.

    Planate’s work will focus on planning, design, construction, and leasing projects throughout the region, which includes Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

    With this contract, Planate will provide construction management support services associated with the implementation of BIE facilities projects, as well as inspection and other services. Projects will range widely from maintenance and repair, general improvements, renovation, design, design/build, and build.

  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to provide Facility Maintenance Services at a shipyard in Subic Bay, Philippines, a strategically important maritime facility with access to the disputed South China Sea. Also an important employer, the shipyard at one time employed 30,000 workers.

    With this contract, Planate will update and maintain facilities and associated equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. A broad range of infrastructure improvements are planned for the shipyard facilities including upgrading buildings to meet modern operational and safety standards.
  • ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Planate Management Group (Planate) has been awarded a contract to provide Architect-Engineer Services to correct mechanical and electrical deficiencies at the VA Medical Center in Boise, Idaho.

    With this contract, Planate will provide professional services to include investigative services, planning consultations and visits, design work, preparation of contract drawings and specifications, preparation of cost estimates, construction period services, follow on site visits, and other services as necessary. The project will correct deficiencies noted in the current Facility Condition Assessment of the VA Medical Center.
