ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Recently, Planate Management Group secured a contract to deliver multi-discipline architectural and engineering (A-E) consulting services for the VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21). Through this effort, the network will support facilities across northern and central California, Nevada, Hawaii, the Philippines, and U.S. territories in the Pacific Basin.
According to VISN 21, the network supports veterans at 67 sites of care. Specifically, these locations include seven VA Medical Centers, nine Community Living Centers, and 41 Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
Under this contract, Planate will actively support VISN 21 facilities through a wide range of technical services. For example, these services include:

First, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation

In addition, cost estimates, scheduling, and digital modeling to communicate design intent

Moreover, preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs) and architectural block and line plans

Additionally, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) analyses and site investigation reports

Finally, participation in site visits and data validation for clinical programming needs
At the same time, Planate’s architects and engineers will collaborate closely with VISN 21 stakeholders. Through this collaboration, the team will support infrastructure planning, improve space utilization, and deliver design solutions tailored to veteran healthcare needs.
Looking ahead, work under this contract is expected to begin within the next year. Furthermore, the agreement allows services to continue through 2028, supporting long-term facility planning and sustained improvements.
