Overview
Planate Management Group, LLC has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of the Interior – National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center, to provide Construction Management Representative (CMR) services in support of the Rehabilitation of Park Housing Project at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in Mosca, Colorado.
The rehabilitation effort will modernize the facilities, and expand housing capacity to better support the dedicated NPS workforce that manages and protects this extraordinary landscape year-round.
Planate’s Scope of Services
Under this contract, Planate will serve as the Construction Management Representative, providing comprehensive oversight and technical support throughout the full construction period. Key responsibilities include:
- On-site construction management and daily inspection services
- Quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) oversight to ensure compliance with NPS standards and federal construction requirements
- Safety monitoring and enforcement throughout all phases of construction
- Schedule and cost control support to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
- Coordination among the National Park Service and all project stakeholders
- Verification of compliance with accessibility, sustainability, and environmental standards
- Documentation, reporting, and technical correspondence on behalf of the Government
The rehabilitation scope encompasses fire protection and wastewater system upgrades, structural water damage remediation, comprehensive interior and exterior improvements, and full compliance with ADA accessibility standards.
