Planate Management Group continues to strengthen its role as a trusted partner to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), securing a new task order in late 2025 under the GSA OASIS+ contract vehicle in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The award underscores Planate’s growing capabilities in delivering high-security, mission-critical engineering and construction management services for federal clients operating in complex and sensitive environments.

CBP Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) Program Support

Effective September 30, 2025, the task order—was awarded through the OASIS+ Small Business track, where Planate serves as a prime contractor. Under this award, Planate provides construction management and engineering services in support of CBP programs associated with non-intrusive inspection infrastructure at ports of entry.

Planate’s role focuses on ensuring that specialized facilities are planned, delivered, and managed in alignment with applicable federal safety, quality, and operational requirements, while maintaining continuity of operations at active government facilities.

“This award also reflects Planate’s successful transition onto OASIS+, which replaced the original OASIS vehicle following its expiration in March 2025, positioning the firm for long-term federal growth across multiple mission areas.”

Broader DHS Experience: ICE Facility Engineering in Hawaii

Planate’s CBP work builds on prior DHS-related efforts for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In June 2025, Planate completed a comprehensive engineering and architectural assessment at an ICE facility in Honolulu, Hawaii, encompassing three historic structures: the Administration Building, Garage and Waiting Pavilion, and the Special Investigations Annex.

Key deliverables included:

  • Space utilization studies and functional floor-plan improvements.
  • Structural and architectural recommendations to support modern operational needs.
  • HVAC modernization guidance aligned with ASHRAE standards.
  • Fire protection and life-safety compliance in accordance with NFPA requirements, carefully balanced with historic preservation considerations.

This work highlights Planate’s ability to modernize legacy facilities while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational integrity.

Secure Facility Engineering Capabilities

Across DHS and adjacent federal missions, Planate brings deep expertise in secure facility engineering, including:

  • CBRNE screening and detection space design
  • Construction management for active, high-security environments

These capabilities directly support DHS agencies operating at ports of entry, investigative facilities, and other sensitive installations.

Planate also maintains Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, demonstrating compliance with applicable cybersecurity requirements.

Advancing Mission-Ready Infrastructure

The CBP OASIS+ task order represents both a significant contract award and a strategic milestone in Planate’s continued expansion across high-security federal infrastructure programs—supporting agencies responsible for safeguarding U.S. borders, ports of entry, and national security.
