Planate Management Group continues to expand its global presence. Thailand serves as a key operational hub in the Indo-Pacific region. Through our Thailand office, we deliver high-quality design, engineering, and construction services. These services align with International Building Code (IBC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), and host-nation standards. As a result, we effectively support military, defense, and infrastructure development.
Recently, Planate President Chris Decker visited the region. During his visit, he met with key partners and stakeholders. This engagement reinforced Planate’s long-term commitment to Thailand. Moreover, it highlighted our focus on strengthening relationships that support mission readiness and infrastructure capability.
Contract Vehicle: NAVFAC ROICC Thailand
Currently, Planate Management Group LLC supports the Department of the Navy through Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific. Specifically, we provide Architect-Engineer services for the Resident Office in Charge of Construction in Thailand. These services fall under the cognizance of NAVFAC Pacific.
Under this contract, Planate delivers a range of technical services. These include IBC- and UFC-compliant design and engineering support for multi-discipline A-E projects. In addition, we prepare construction plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates. We also conduct site and environmental studies, including geotechnical investigations and surveys. Furthermore, our teams provide construction-phase support, consultation, and post-award services.
Importantly, Planate maintains an established team of on-ground engineers in Thailand. This presence allows us to deliver projects with speed, cultural awareness, and precision. Since contract award, we have completed multiple task orders. At the same time, we continue to secure new opportunities.
Notably, Planate recently received a task order for design services supporting above-ground fuel storage repairs at Camp Antonio Bautista in the Philippines. This award reflects the trust our clients place in our technical expertise across the Indo-Pacific.
Expanding Influence Across the Indo-Pacific
While Thailand remains a focal point, Planate’s regional reach continues to grow. Across the Indo-Pacific, we support strategic projects in several locations. In Guam, we provide fire protection engineering and Designer of Record services. In the Philippines, we operate two active on-site offices supporting infrastructure upgrades. Meanwhile, our Taiwan office positions us to serve U.S. and allied defense requirements.
Together, these projects demonstrate our ability to operate in complex environments. They also show how we scale services across regions while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
