Brian Burtscher, PE, LEED AP BD+C, serves as the Vice President of the Architecture, Engineering, and Design division at Planate Management Group. Brian leads our global design team and directs A/E strategy functions. He manages and coordinates the cross-discipline interaction of engineers, architects, and other technical support personnel, in collaboration with the other operating divisions across the Planate organization. Mr. Burtscher has extensive experience in project and design management, HVAC system design, health care facilities, and multiple other GSA projects. He spent thirteen years with Limbach Engineering & Design Services working on a wide range of public and private sector contracts. His expertise in mechanical HVAC systems design includes heating and cooling load calculations, equipment sizing and selections, LEED and Title-24 design considerations, coordination with other disciplines, pre-construction management, and project coordination. He led and managed large-scale design-build and redesign projects providing exceptional, efficient solutions for mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection design from concept through the construction and completion phases.
