ALEXANDRIA, Va.: Planate Management Group, a renowned Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is pleased to announce its collaboration on an important project based at the Soto Cano airbase in Honduras.

The initial scope of the project saw the deployment of Planate’s experts, Mr. Curtlin Johnson, a civil engineer, and Mr. Rich Trimble, an electrical engineer, to participate in a Pre-deployment site survey at the airbase. The visit, which took place between August 15–18, had the duo work closely with stakeholders to gather vital information and insights.

Following this initial visit, the team returned to the USA, handing off the task to the Global Technical Support Center (GTSC). The subsequent phase of the project involves creating an estimate for the work, determining the disciplines needed for the design and plan, and continuing collaboration with the principal contractor for the development.

If the project progresses as planned, Planate anticipates additional design, planning, and construction oversight responsibilities. This may lead to further deployment of both USA and PI staff to Soto Cano in the coming months.

The project’s essence revolves around supporting the operations at the Soto Cano airbase and further establishing Planate’s role as a critical player in international development and management projects.
