Planate Management Group has been awarded a multi-million-dollar project from The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) contract, a substantial $2.5 billion, 5-year Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery task order contract for high-risk embassy support, to provide vital services for the U.S. Department of State.
Multiple contractors are currently fulfilling the U.S. Department of State’s requirement for Diplomatic Platform Support Services providing a full range of services for Life Support Services, Logistics Services (LSS&L), and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to DOS and other U.S. government agencies.
Under this prestigious contract, Planate will undertake critical work in dangerous and complex environments, including areas with Department of Defense designated contingency operations. The scope of projects encompasses an array of tasks such as maintenance and repair of facilities, full operations of temporary housing, plumbing and sewage operations, property upgrades to meet high-security requirements, and the establishment of innovative labs and dining facilities.
The Contractor shall perform work in the following Service Categories:
- Task Order Management
- Logistics Services, Critical Supplies (High Threat Post)
- Operations & Maintenance, Life Support, and Logistics Services (High Threat Posts)
- Projects, Renovations, and Construction (High Threat Posts)
- Operations & Maintenance, Life Support, and Logistics Services (Medium and Low Threat Posts)
The DiPSS contract boasts an initial period of performance spanning one base year, with the potential for an additional four option years. Planate eagerly anticipates a productive partnership in delivering critical diplomatic support services to the Department of State on a global scale.
About Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS)
The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) contract provides a full range of services for life support, logistics, operations and maintenance to U.S. Department of State (DoS) and other U.S. Government agencies under Chief of Mission Authority and, under special circumstances, non-Chief of Mission activities across the globe. DoS anticipate a large portion of this contract to focus on locations in the Middle East and South Central Asia contingency environments; however, the places of performance will not be limited to any one region of the world.
The DoS operates approximately 250 posts worldwide at any given time; this number changes as global situations dictate. See Attachment 1, Post Profiles. Some posts are located in areas that are considered to have a high threat level; including areas with Department of Defense designated contingency operations.
